About This Game
Yedu Penkulata (ఏడు పెంకులాట), also celebrated as Lagori, Lingorch, and Pitthu, is the legendary traditional playground and street sport played by generations of youth across Telangana (Hyderabad gullies, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, and Nizamabad). In a rustic village courtyard beneath the historic Kakatiya stone arch and festive Bathukamma flowers, aim your cricket tennis ball to smash the stack of 7 colored flat slate stones. Dodge fierce fielder throws, sprint to retrieve the scattered stones, and rebuild the pyramid in perfect order before shouting "YEDU PENKULU!" for victory!
