About This Game
Dayakattai (தாயக்கட்டை) is an ancient Tamil cross-and-circle board game dating back to Sangam literature. Played with two cylindrical brass dice (rolling 1/Dhaayam, 2, 3, and 0/4), players race their brass coins across a 7x7 grid to reach the central Pazham (பழம்) home sanctuary. Features authentic Dhaayam entry rules, safe Malai (மலை) squares, opponent coin cutting with bonus turns, and play against an intelligent Tamil AI or local 2-player mode.
