1. Place Phase: Alternately place your 9 coins on the 24 intersection points.
2. Form a Daadi: Align 3 of your pieces in a row to declare DAADI (దాడి!) and capture an opponent's piece.
3. Move Phase: Once all pieces are placed, slide your coins along lines to adjacent vacant points to form new Daadis.
4. Flying Phase: When reduced to 3 coins, your pieces can 'fly' (jump) to any open intersection!
5. Win by reducing your opponent to 2 coins or trapping them with no legal moves!

Daadi (దాడి ఆట), also celebrated as Navakankari, is the legendary ancient strategy board game of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Played across centuries on village verandas (అరుగులు) and temple courtyards with polished stone coins and cowrie shells, players position 9 tactical counters across 24 junction points. Aligning 3 pieces in a row declares "DAADI!" to capture opponent coins.
